Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Lathe Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating lathe machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include:
* Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
* Setting up and operating lathe machines safely and efficiently.
* Selecting appropriate cutting tools and speeds.
* Performing quality checks using measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
* Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and making necessary adjustments.
* Ensuring parts meet required dimensional tolerances.
* Following all safety procedures and guidelines.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
Any Graduate, 12th Grade, 10th Grade
Skills
* Proficient in operating lathe machines.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Knowledge of cutting tools and speeds.
* Experience with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers).
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
